not on the 4th as I mentioned earlier.

Swedish St. Lucia Celebration

December 3rd at 11 am
at King of Glory Lutheran Church
6411 Lyndon B. Johnson Freeway , Dallas, TX


The Lucia celebrations represent one of the foremost cultural traditions in Sweden.

At 11:00am, a candle light processional with Swedish choir music highlights this event. After the processional, children can visit with Jultomten (Santa).

Swedish crafts, gift items, baked goods and sweets will be available for purchase during the Yule Bazaar. Swedish food, pastries and beverages will be served.

Adm: $1 for the Yule Bazaar

The Danish Club had their annual Smørrebrøds party on October 23rd

Members of the Danish Club
and guests
enjoyed delicious Danish openface sandwiches,
sang Danish songs,
met with old friends,
and made new friends.
Some of us
even won prizes in the raffle.

Smørrebrøds party and web site release on October 23rd

On Sunday October 23rd
we will meet at the Wooden Spoon
for the Smørrebrøds party.

We will announce the release of the website
and demo it for the members that are present.
