The Danish American Society of Dallas and Fort Worth consists of people with a danish heritage and their families. We also welcome people who are simply interested in Denmark and the danish culture.
Every year we keep alive the Danish traditional celebrations for children as well as adults.

Swedish St. Lucia Celebration

December 3rd at 11 am
at King of Glory Lutheran Church
6411 Lyndon B. Johnson Freeway , Dallas, TX


The Lucia celebrations represent one of the foremost cultural traditions in Sweden.

At 11:00am, a candle light processional with Swedish choir music highlights this event. After the processional, children can visit with Jultomten (Santa).

Swedish crafts, gift items, baked goods and sweets will be available for purchase during the Yule Bazaar. Swedish food, pastries and beverages will be served.

Adm: $1 for the Yule Bazaar
